“I believed Buttonmoon had some valid points when on the occasion I visited, But today in his stream and what he did with his cat. was outright outlandish! & To ass OMA said it was fine he did that? The cat was minding its own business as well then I do not like this streamer no more! Especially those who hurt cats, That cat was not happy!”

“Lifting a cat or suspending its body weight by its scruff (the skin on the back of its neck) is unnecessary and potentially painful. And it’s certainly not the most respectful or appropriate way to pick up or handle your cat. So yes, by two years old they are full adult size and you should definitely not be doing this! What age should you not scruff a cat?
Once a kitten has reached about twelve weeks of age, it will be too heavy to lift by the scruff without causing them pain or discomfort, and lifting an adult cat by the scruff will be both painful for them and place too much pressure on their shoulder blades, and can even cause bruising beneath their fur.”
